CVR Autocross Rules - Car Categorization

Under the "Handicap Point Chart" find each item/modification that IS TRUE for your car. Then add each true item in each column to give four column totals. Do not carry numbers over into other columns. Now, compare your totals with the "Category Point Limits" table. Your car will then be categorized based on how your point totals compare. If you have no more than five "D" points then your car is Street or Prepared depending on your tires. If you have more than five "D" points, or any points in the other columns you will either be in the Improved or Modified categories.

A Car Categorization Worksheet is available to help you class your car.
