CVR Autocross - Driving Rules

  1. Cars will run in class/category groups. The groups typically will proceed from the highest (Modified) first, to lowest (Novice and Other) last. Each run will complete before the next will begin. If a car misses its run groups, it may not be granted a make-up. No car should run its next numerical run before the entire run group has been completed.

  2. An official rerun(s) will be given to any driver who does not receive a fair timed run through no fault of the driver. This may because of a faulty timer, or improperly setup/reset course. The driver may elect no to go to the beginning of the line for a rerun. Reruns must be made as soon as practical, but no later than the end of the run time for that class or group.

  3. If a driver goes off course and then the run is deemed a rerun, that driver WILL NOT be granted a rerun. Any other penalties will not carry over to the rerun.

  4. All pylon penalties for each run and its associated rerun(s) will be recorded.

  5. If a red flag is displayed to a driver, that driver must IMMEDIATELY reduce to a safe, slow speed and then either stop or exit the course. They will be granted a rerun. IF THEY CONTINUE TO RUN AT SPEED AND CONTINUE ON COURSE THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT.
